On October 23-24, “Training for Responsible Persons of Charitable Organizations in the Whole Region” (namely customized course of Lao Niu “Philanthropy Classroom”), sponsored by Administration of Social Organization of the Department of Civil Affairs of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia Social Organizations Service Center and co-organized by Lao Niu Foundation, was held in Wanhao Hotel in Hohhot. Director General Han Shaojun and Deputy Director General He Chengmu and Lu Hongyan of the Administration of Social Organization of the Department of Civil Affairs of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Yu Jianying, Director of Inner Mongolia Social Organizations Service Center, and An Yaqiang, Secretary General of our Foundation, and nearly 160 responsible persons from 136 charitable organizations in the whole region participated in the training.
As keynote speekers, Zhang Gaorong, Assistant Dean of China Philanthropy Research Institute, Lu Qibin, Associate Professor of the School of Social Development and Public Policy, Beijing Normal University, Pei Bin, Senior Project Manager of SGS CSTC Standards Technical Services Co. Ltd., and Guo Xiaohua, founder of Support Center of Worker Ants, respectively provided customized training courses of Lao Niu “Philanthropy Classroom” for the responsible persons of charitable organizations in the while region for the first time on the topics of “in-depth interpretation for Charity Law, internal governance of charitable organizations, design and implementation of projects, and financial management”.

During the training, the trainees were learning carefully and actively interacting with each other. They have improved their capabilities in charity theories and work practice and reached the desired effects of the training. Through the attempt in these customized courses, the learning and exchange platform for charitable organizations in the whole region has been preliminarily formed; in the future, Lao Niu “Philanthropy Classroom” will join hands with more partners, develop more targeted courses, and better promote the development of local charitable organizations.
