Tu Meng, Deputy Director General & Secretary General of TransFar Foundation
With “Peace Inn” project as the case, Secretary General Tu Meng shared the logics and steps in the development of charitable products with the trainees. He believed that the development of charitable products must first be oriented to the needs of the beneficiaries. In the stage of product design, we must fully consider the interests of the beneficiaries. Meanwhile, we also need to broaden resource mobilization and delivery channel, improve the participation and experience of donors and strengthen performance evaluation.
Li Yuanlong, General Manager of the Charitable Trust Department of Wanxiang Trust and Doctor of Management from Zhejiang University
Through analyzing cases such as Lu Guanqiu “Three Rural Issues” Fuzhi Fund, Lechun Family Charitable Trust and other cases, Dr. Li Yuanlong introduced experience regarding family charitable trust, charity planning and donor service. According to him, the most important things for family charitable trust are to be stable, secular and persistent. It requires two triangular structures. First of all, the system of charitable trust must be combined with the structure of family governance and the structure of listed company governance; secondly, flexibility, possibility and time-limit management must be adequately combined in concrete caes.
